Like many hobbies, pottery began as a creative escape from my weekday career in technology and truly took root during the COVID lockdown. Over the past few years, it has grown into a passion for creating handmade pieces that are both beautiful and functional. Under the name KLove Pottery, I throw and handbuild small-batch ceramics inspired by nature and the beauty found in everyday utility. I believe the objects we use every day should be enjoyed, not just used, and I love transforming simple mugs, bowls, and serving pieces into pretty things that invite people to slow down and appreciate the balance of art and function. When I’m not at work or in the studio, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family — hiking, camping, rock climbing, and fly fishing.
